What's better than the 12 days of Christmas? 12 days of Christmas yoga, of course! I've selected 12 of my favorite relaxing yoga poses to help get you through the stress of the season. These poses are perfect for all levels, even if you've never stepped foot on a yoga mat before.
Each day I'll share one pose, instructions to help you get started and the benefits of the pose. I hope you'll enjoy doing them as much as I enjoyed choosing them!

Day One: Legs Up the wall
To start, lie on your back with your bottom close to the wall. Extend your legs up the wall. Shift your position until comfortable. Rest your shoulders and head on the floor. Close your eyes and focus on inhaling and exhaling through the nose. Rest the arms at your sides. If you wish, rest one hand over the heart and one hand on the abdomen to connect to your breath.
Hold the pose for 5-10 minutes.
This pose is believed to aid in reducing anxiety, headaches/migranes, mild depression, and insomnia as well as overall fatigue.
It is my favorite pose when I'm stressed or having a bad day. Spend 5 minutes in this pose and even the worse day will feel a little more manageable! Try it and drop me a note in the comments to let me know how it worked for you!
